Tuesday, 31-07-07 Instituto Nacional De Cultura Ayacucho

Our first full day in Ayacucho and what greets me? Yes those are monkeys on top of that mototaxi!

The market place.
John did you read this sign?

The tin working shop in Ayacucho. I bought a piece of work like the one on this door. Then went back a week later and found one with hummingbirds that I liked better! Fun fun fun hauling this stuff back!

Me and a Peruvian policewoman! Eat your heart out Mobee!

Lunch and then dancing! Check out that fresh juice!

Dancing after lunch!

Cesar with the flag he made for our "touristo grupo".

The evolution of Cesar and John! Looks like Cesar is more evolved!

Lorenzo giving us a private tour of the museo.

Stephen looking at pottery on display that he helped dig up and recover.

Pottery that Stephen and Amy helped excavate.

Looking at artifacts behind the scenes.

One of the first retablo that I got to see.
Jimmy with the flag!

Walking back to the casa near the museum!
Check out those chicks!

We went out to dinner @ Walpa Sue. Looks like my beer has a little cap on it!

The ovens at Walpa Sue! Yummy pollo!
The cake I didn't get to taste right away!!!! We went to Lalo's Cafe for dessert and of course Cesar told them it was Steve's birthday. We also had our first Pisco Sours there!
John blowing his cap!
Jimmy, John and Cesar after dinner.

The last dance of the evening! Viva Peru!
